Admission
Admission is free to all sites for Historic Beverly members, Active-duty military, Blue Star families, and members of Massachusetts Teachers Association (MTA), NEMA, NARM, AASLH and AAM. Appropriate identification should be presented.
National Railway Historical Society members are entitled to half-price admission.
Historic Beverly is a member of the Card to Culture and Museums for All programs. We offer free tours to EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare card holders (up to 4 per visit), and discounted pricing for regular programs. Historic Beverly does not process EBT transactions; cash or other payment must be provided for admission. General admission to Balch and Hale, which are open seasonally, is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and students, and free for children under 16.
All tours at Balch and Hale are guided.
Self-guided tours of the Cabot House are free; guided tours are available for $8. Please see our school programs page for school visit information.

The Balch House
Opens for the season the first Saturday in June; open Mondays and Saturdays, 12 -4 through September 2.

The John Cabot House
The John Cabot House and Visitor Center is temporarily closed for an HVAC project. All visitor center services are available at Hale Farm, 39 Hale St.
Hale Farm
Open Fridays and Saturdays, 11:00 – 3:00 through October.
