Art is for everyone and by slowing down, looking carefully, allowing questions to form and thoughts to bubble up, an artwork becomes more interesting.

Historic Beverly is participating along with over 100 other museums and galleries around the world for Slow Art Day 2024.

Register for a 45 minute time slot to stop by the John Cabot house to explore the Community Art Show: “Colors of Beverly” then look slowly – 5-10 minutes – at each piece of pre-assigned art.

After the Slow Looking process you will meet with the curator of the exhibit, Abby Battis, who will facilitate discussions in front of each piece of art.
