Planters’ Path and Our Impact on Bass River

April 27 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free – $10.00

Come walk the Planters’ Path with Historic Beverly.  Learn about those who walked the path, the impact the colonists and later residents had on their environment and the effects we still see today.  We will walk through the Cummings Center campus mostly along the Shoe ponds and up to Balch Street, coming out at McKeown School.  Besides those early settlers, we will focus on the Bass River, and Friend’s Mill’s effect on the river as well as later impacts.  Walk in the footsteps of the Old Planters with us to explore how the Bass River impacts and has been impacted as Beverly grew!
