This tour of the Cummings Center and the history of the United Shoe Machinery Company picks up where our first Cummings Center tour left off. A general overview and review of the first tour will be offered as an introduction then various topics such as immigration, the life of a USMC worker and life after “the Shoe” will be discussed. We will be walking outside between Building 100 and the Medical Center in February so please be aware of potential weather conditions. Meet at Building 100 front vestibule. $10/free for members
