Volunteer
Historic Beverly needs your help!
We have three wonderful sites and an extraordinary museum collection, but a very small staff. If you can give us a few hours each month, we have some work for you. Ongoing projects will be posted here. Information on additional projects will be sent by email. You will receive our gratitude (and refreshments) for your efforts.
Please let us know when you’d like to help by submitting a volunteer application HERE, or calling 978-922-1186.
The personal and professional papers of both William Bartlett, the first naval agent under General George Washington, and Josiah Batchelder, Jr, a member of the General Court, Provincial Congress and first district surveyor and inspector of the port. These papers provide vital information on the history of Beverly and the American Revolution and tell the stories of other important maritime communities along the east coast.
