Thorndike Street Walking Tour

June 21 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free – $10.00

RESCHEDULED FROM FEBRUARY

On this virtual walking tour you’ll find out how a self-made millionaire, a nationally prominent silversmith, a minister of the First Baptist Church, the home of one of the first responders to Abraham Lincoln’s call for soldiers in the Civil War, a carpenter/ ship owner who helped convert a private home into the City Hall still in use, and a sailor who served aboard the U.S.S. Merrimack have in common?

Join us for a virtual tour of Thorndike Street, one of Beverly’s most fascinating streets and learn about some of the unusual people who lived here. Walking tours offer insight into the hidden history of Beverly and introduce you to its key events and major figures.

Advance registration required. $10; free for members of Historic Beverly and Card to Culture.

You should receive a link immediately upon registration (please check your spam folder). If not, contact us.
