The American Revolution: A Story of the War in 40 Paintings

Historic Beverly Extends Revolutionary War Exhibit and Expands Programming for Beverly’s 400th Anniversary.
The American Revolution: A Story in 40 Paintings will be on display through December 31. Originally developed in conjunction with Ken Burns’ recent documentary, The American Revolution, the Exhibit has been reimagined to give visitors the rare opportunity to view all 40 paintings ultimately featured in the film. These vivid works depict pivotal moments in the fight for independence, including battles involving Beverly militia members who joined the struggle for freedom.
The Exhibit will remain on view, at the Cabot House, until December 31, 2026. Admission is free for everyone.
