
School Vacation: 250 Years of the American Revolution

Story times recommended for Gr. 3-5, drop-in crafts and activities open to all ages
Join us as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Revolutionary War! Explore the Historic Beverly galleries, showcasing fascinating artifacts from the Revolution. Each gallery will also feature “Make and Take” stations with engaging activities inspired by the pastimes of militia members during their wartime encampments.
Friday: The Ride of Paul Revere
- Stop into the Cabot House at 11:00 am or 2:00 pm for a reading of “Paul Revere’s Ride” by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow as illustrated in the picture book by Ted Rand
- Stay after story time to assemble and decorate a wooden lantern to take home
