
School Vacation: 250 Years of the American Revolution

Story times recommended for Gr. 3-5, drop-in crafts and activities open to all ages
Join us as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Revolutionary War! Explore the Historic Beverly galleries, showcasing fascinating artifacts from the Revolution. Each gallery will also feature “Make and Take” stations with engaging activities inspired by the pastimes of militia members during their wartime encampments.
Today: Revolutionary Friendships
- Drop-in story time at noon and 2:00pm for readings of the storybook, “Revolutionary Friends: General George Washington and the Marquis de Lafayette” by Selene Castrovilla
- Stay after story time to create your own friendship quilt to take home to give to a beloved friend and make a square to add to our quilt on view
